    Thanks for running this blog. I’m fascinated to see the progress. Today I saw these curb stones that are sitting as of today on the corner of Mass Ave and Trowbridge. It made me wonder if the finishes renovation will feature stone curbs or whether we’ll be switched to concrete. Of course I find the stone more charming, and it seems like it might also be more durable for the long haul.

      @Daniel, the bid specs for this contract include many references to granite curbs, including 2,400 units of “GRANITE CURB TYPE VA4 – CURVED” (other quantities of other shapes of granite curbs also).

      I don’t think concrete is up to the job!

    Hmm, since leaving the above comment I read this article on Arlington Patch which suggests that as a rule new curbs will be put in: http://patch.com/massachusetts/arlington/update-mass-ave-corridor-project-construction-0
